Was there for a year and a half and really struggled with the staff. Dr Paulson would tell me he’d be willing to help me (medication wise, etc) and I’d ask the nurses to follow up with him on it to start and they’d refuse and tell me he’d doesn’t do that. It was the same for when I asked for a reference from him for a service dog. (I had the necessary ones done from other doctors but needed another professional reference.) Wouldn’t even do it. My wife has been seeing Dr. Paulson for care for 1-2 years. He is great, but his staff is astonishingly terrible. We cannot get a hold of him between appointments. His staff, particularly the MA, is supposed to read messages and respond. Per her own admission, she’s “too busy” to read them and respond. They won’t even respond to urgent medical matters. I’d leave a review of the physician but I’ve been setting the the exam room for over an hour and and hour and fifteen past my appointment time. I don’t know if it’s carelessness, incompetence, or superiority complex but DOPL will be hearing from me soon as well. This is ridiculous.
Dr Paulson is very personable with a kind demeanor and good bedside manner. We've found him to be extremely thorough and knowledgeable. His staff is very friendly and helpful.
I'm giving 1 star only for Dr.Paulson's staff. Dr. PAULSON is fantastic! He is knowledgeable, patient, thorough, professional and willing to listen and figure out problems. His staff is awful. The blond woman at the front is rude, dismissive and all together mean. I was with my granddaughter who was told that she was having a tilt table test but when we arrive, we discovered it was just a consult.
