Wait was a little long but with good company and beautiful view of the golf course it was a ok. You also get free entertainment from the golfers. Food was decently priced and very delicious. This was my 2nd time there and both times were great experiences. I wish they still had the breakfast buffet, that was fantastic.
Two hours for our food with no apology! After waiting one hour we asked where our food was and the response was that they were busy even tho they had many open tables! After waiting another hour we asked the manager where our food was and his response was "hey you are lucky you got a seat in here." He was the most unprofessional and down right insulting manager I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. WORST Restaurant experience EVER... If I could give ZERO Stars, I would. Initially invited by family to attend some Bernie Sanders thing the Friday before Indiana Primary, and I was first one there from my group. Sat at a table next to the bar entrance and was 99% ignored by all wait staff for the 40 minutes that I sat there waiting on my family. Had breakfast with my grandchildren and family at Toast today on Superhero Sunday. The kids had a great time,loved having there picture taken with the Superheroes. This is not my first time eating at Toast and each time I go the food is cold. This restaurant has been open long enough to have solved this problem. The food was not really kid friendly, no fruit or cereal but lots of sweets. The pancakes were so cold the kids would not eat them. Nice restaurant at Helfrich Golf Course. The menu is not traditional golf course fare which is a welcome change. The bartenders and waitresses are all very nice!
