This clinic seems to be incredibly ignorant regarding tmj issues. I was misdiagnosed and am now suffering from the consequences. They also literally hallucinated symptoms that didn’t exist in my clinic report (probably because they couldn’t understand my root cause).

Went here to diagnose TMJ symptoms and was met with a kind enough dentist that went through my history. They did a quick visual inspection, and manual inspection of the jaw muscles - but also did a 3D optical scan (which I didn't think was necessary for diagnosis and was more to prep for the custom splints). The last thing bugged me because it wasn't clear why I needed to pay for the scan if hadn't committed to getting splits. Was quoted $2000 for lower teeth occlusal splints (much higher than other places) and $1000 for bot... read more

Absolutely fabulous! Dr Miranda has been super helpful, comprehensive and a wonderful support during my treatments. Initially I was nervous to wear a splint and receive Botox in my jaw however the outcome and positive change has been 100% worthwhile. I now wake up with less tension headaches and lighter, which means my day is more productive. My jaw also rarely clicks now and I’m no longer in pain which has improved my quality of life. I wish I received treatment sooner. Thank you Dr Miranda and the team at TMJ North Sydney!
