I’ve suffered from TMJ for several years, and Dr Ledford has been incredibly helpful. A year ago I hit my peak pain- barely able to eat. I started treatment. Not a huge difference right away. It takes a few months. Each appointment was a little different but we gradually figured out what my issues were. Is it expensive? Yeah, but I was lucky enough that my insurance covered it. Dr Ledford and his staff are very friendly and appointments were easy however I feel like after my TMJ treatment my symptoms are worse and I have been in so much more pain then before we started. I feel like I went through 8 weeks of misery wearing a daily mouthpiece just to have it not work. They wanted to do blood cell infusions after my 8 week mouthpiece and said it would work for sure but if that's the case why didn't we just do that first.
