I recently purchased the TMG-PSM30 Portable Sawmill followed by the 6' extension. So far this has been a great purchase. The value for the money is exceptional compared to other mills. I am now cutting 18' and longer logs with ease. The Kohler motor is great - starts with one pull even at low temperatures. The mill is relatively straight forward to setup and there are many helpful videos available. The manual is OK but there are a few things that are hard to describe where videos fill the gap. There products come defective has been 3 weeks no response to email about defective assembly had to pay local fabricator to cut apart and repair new attachment. New assembly was not square to sprocket causing chain to bind on sprocket.
**Update: as of 10/29/25** Ryan at TMG reached out to me after this review and simply made it right. Very straight forward customer service approach that solved the concerns I had and returned the product without “restock” fee and even paid for return shipping. Due to the way this situation was handled, I will be a customer again and I will recommend using this company for equipment purchases. I purchased a TMG Tire machine for $3000 a little over a year ago. The machine lasted less than 2 months before it failed. I then spent the next year going back and forth with them via email as any complaints are not handled via phone only for nothing to actually be fixed. I provided video, pictures, and licensed repair tech notes and then waited 8-12 weeks twice for the parts to come in from China. Still no fix.
