They almost turned my kid away with a severe case of rhabdomyolysis and only didn’t b/c I asked for lab testing. The provider felt it wasn’t necessary until he went and googled it. I would say just take your children to Childrens mercy emergency room right off rip don’t even deal with these people unless you can’t make the extra drive.I feel like the provider didn’t really care much until I made it a point for labs and once they came back as severe levels, they took me more serious. While checking in the gentlemen asked the lady in the back if she was all caught up, she rudely replied NO....so I go sit down 15 minutes later an older rude lady came to check in, loud and obnoxious....yet after her lack of manners they pull her straight back ..I just left. If I have to be rude to get care, I'm good.
Update:TURNS OUT I AM MONTHS PREGNANT AND THEY DIDNT TEST ME CORRECTLY NOR LISTEN TO MY ISSUES. I came here yesterday and found out I have a gigantic hernia sitting in my lower stomach. I'm sitting here and paying the next day still. They didn't do anything and didn't prescribe me anything asked if I wanted ibuprofen and I told them no. Said they would have a doctor call me back the next day to schedule primary Care I ended up calling back today and they were never going to call me from what I heard. Doctor Taylor who is the BEST doctor i’ve ever been seen by sat down, listened to every symptom and went through all of them with me and whenever i asked for a test, she simply said of course and tries to push what she can do in the ER with the resources and time given. I’ve seen her twice now and she hasn’t changed a bit! Doctors DO care, nurses DO care, they are people too. You treat them with the respect and kindness they deserve and they will listen and help you, they go through shit too! I 100% recommend coming here. Up... read more
Love the staff here! I had a personal issue that required several visits to the er and each time the staff was always accommodating and helpful. From the triage nurses, to the er doctor, ultrasound techs etc everyone is personable and treats you with respect. They are also very accommodating of time.
