I don’t even know what it is but yeah
This Kyle guy gave me a quote and asked for a $600 deposit. In good faith I e-transferred him money that he said he needed for materials. Never did the work and claims he's had all these issues both personal and work. Won't refund my money citing he's owed money but never got paid. It's been two months now and he still won't refund any of my money. This guy's a scam. I had to find another contractor for the work. DO NOT TRUST HIM. Noticed he also gave himself two raving reviews so inflates his overall rating. What a scam.
Did not show. I messaged him on Kijiji, he said he had a job he was waiting on and could be there tomorrow, just send him a $200.00 deposit. Next day nothing I had to contact him and excuse was he left his phone in the fridge and couldn't contact me. Promised to be there the next day. Again no show, said he had a major family emergency. Told him to not bother coming, I asked for $100.00 back of my deposit and nothing he claimed he had already purchased the materials. Hopefully others don't fall to his little scam.
We tried many times to get Kyle out to do a small repair on our ceiling. He would say he was coming and then not show up. This happened 3 times. Brutal business.
