I had an appointment with Dr. Segun Adanike and it turned out to be the worst TLC experience I’ve ever had. The doctor was over two hours late for my scheduled call, and no one informed me of the delay. I had taken time off work specifically for this appointment, which made the lack of communication even more frustrating. When I asked the receptionist for an update, she dismissively said, “He’ll call when he’s caught up because he’s behind schedule”. This was not helpful and came across as rude. He didn’t introduce himself, walked in, negative energy, and asked what I wanted. I shared some things, to be laughed at by a doctor is highly unprofessional. To be told it’s skin pigmentation in my armpits when it fact, it’s infected, itchy, and multiple spots growing is clearly showing that the doctor doesn’t know what he’s doing. I did say kindly that perhaps he was unsure of what it was or never saw something like this before and he could refer me. Had an amazing experience today! I went to get my hormonal injection since my family physician is on holiday. The receptionist, pharmacists-everyone was very nice and friendly. The pharmacist who administered my injection was very knowledgeable and kind. My visit was smooth and quick. Keep up the great work, guys! Thank you for making my experience such a positive one!
