"The surgery takes about 45 minutes but expect to be at the surgical centre for 2 to 4 hours". I read this several times and didn't expect it to be me who was there for 4 hours or more, most of it in pre-op waiting and waiting. This was my first visit to TLC Laser Eye Centre. I typically go to Lasik MD for my appointments, but I was informed that my appointment location had been changed to TLC, which is about 30 minutes from my home. I had a very positive experience with the staff assisting in the back—everyone was friendly and professional. However, my interaction at the front desk was quite the opposite.
