Got my LASIK done here in December 2019 and even now, May 2025, everything is still flawless. Still rocking that 20/20 vision. The dry eye post procedure lasted as they said it would; for about 3-6 months, and then I was pretty much golden. Everything was done very professionally, and the procedure itself was painless and super quick. I’d recommend anyone in the NY metro area to this clinic for LASIK.

Customer Service is worst in the business. I was told when I got my eye surgery in Feb of 2023 I would be able to have my annual eye check up at the TLC locations, and I would not have to call in to schedule myself. Here we are nearing April and I haven't received a call to schedule my annual appointment so I decided to call myself. The first call they picked up the phone and continued a conversation they were having to whoever they were having it with and didn't acknowledge my presence. The second call I was hung up on. I wish I could give 0 stars but unfortunately was not an option. TLC prides themselves in customer service, funny they don't have it. I called and left messages and emails and NO ONE ever calls back. With the lawsuit against them this shows that they are incapable of conducting a business. After 1.5 years of me trying to have them correct the error made on my eye, still nothing has been done by them. I have been a patient of Dr. Donnenfeld for over 30 years. I had my LASIK at this location in November of 2021 with Dr. Donnenfeld. It was difficult to get in contact with TLC and schedule but after multiple calls I was able to schedule my appointment. The day of the procedure everything went according to plan. I continue to receive my care with Dr. Donnenfeld as well as his team, with OCLI Garden City for my follow up appointments. Absolutely phenomenal at wasting your time. Cancelled two consultations then never showed for a virtual consultation. No real apology or reason why. If you are expecting professionalism, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Respect yourself and your time.
