I needed a noise checked on my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee which has 40,000 miles. I went to the dealer (now Island Honda but was the Chrysler/Jeep dealer until it closed.) I was first told that both front shocks needed to be replaced and the cost would be $300.00 plus. I told them to go ahead with the repair and they came back and said that the repair would actually cost over $400.00 and that the parts would have to be sent from Oahu at an additional cost of $20.00.
