When adding cultured or natural stone to a home, be sure to request a rainscreen and a weep screed for proper water drainage. Since stone is porous and absorbs water, it needs an outlet to drain.
The models were really nice. The Yorktown model is a little dated but was a lot easier to get a visual of the actual house vs. some plans on paper. The Madison model was really nice and updated. If it had the main floor primarily, they would probably go with that one. The staff was great and didn't try to rush us out the door as we were there 45 minutes prior closing time. Would recommend visiting if you're considering any of the models they have there!
I selected TK Constructors to build my home (St. Leon Office) and could not be more happy that I did. From the beginning of the process (selecting the model, going over floor plans, and selecting finishes) with Blake to the completion of the project (with Dave and Bob) it was a quick, smooth, and very easy process. TK did a great job building our home! Note, if you add cultured stone to a home, make sure to request a rainscreen to help protect against possible water penetration. It's one step above building code, but cheap insurance to protect your home. Overall, very happy with TK!
