Took a trimmer to him to fix in August, still haven't heard from him in December. Doesn't return calls. What gives with these small businesses. If they cant fix something or dont want to, ,just say no.
11/15/2025 My small engine repair shop permanently closed this summer and I asked some friends to recommend a shop. This shop was very enthusiastically recommended. Tom told me he has recommended many people to this shop who are very happy with T & J Small Engine. According to my call logs, I have called twice; Friday 10/31 at 3:11 PM and Tuesday 11/11 at 8:49 AM and as of today I have not had a response. I highly recommend T&J Small Engine and Motorsports. While the website mentions snow blower tune-ups, I needed a repair since my blower wasn’t running right. Travis called with the diagnosis, explained everything clearly, and the total cost was reasonable. Even though my auger paddles were worn, I took it as a great sign when he recommended not replacing them yet, saying they should last another season or two. That kind of honesty is rare. He was coming Monday morning to pick up our John Deere to work on it you fix the lawnmower in a week. It was back at the house. He did a great job would recommend him.
