Terrible experience buying a residential property in NE Ohio with Titlease. The notary arrived 1.5 hours late and missed required signatures, requiring a re-sign. They had the deed rejected by the county, delaying recording for a month. Worse, they violated contract terms by releasing a $10,000 holdback to the seller without our authorization after the property was left trashed. To top it off, they recorded the wrong deed type and recorded an inflated purchase price—raising our property taxes. Avoid at all costs.
If I could give 0 stars I would. My company was the buyer on a residential property in the NE Ohio area. The first red flag was when the notary they hired for the closing showed up over an hour and a half late. Then after he finally showed up, we found that the notary forgot some of mine and my partner’s signatures. We had to meet up again to resign.
