Looking back at our home purchase experience, first american lacked customer service and dropped the ball a couple times. Communication was overall pretty bad and their calculations were wrong which unfortunately cost me money, when I bought this to their attention they didn't care or offer any sympathy. If your lender is asking you to use them, please find a different place.
These people are absolutely wonderful. They helped me get my escrow payments sorted when none of the other offices seemed to want to spend the time to help me. Now, apparently this wasn't the office that I should have gone to. But they were helpful nonetheless. Apparently the office I was looking for was just down the street. Closer to wear Tanque Verde turns into Wilmot (no wonder I missed it). Thanks for the help everyone!
They were wonderful. They had all the papers in order for the closing on the house. Tracy was great. She even told us where the nearby bank branch was for the cashiers check. Quick and easy.
Total disappointment with how they handled payment. They wrote a check that took weeks to clear at the bank. Once they were payed they showed no concern for the clients wellbeing after the sale.
