I received bad news when I took my Corvette back to the Chevy dealer for a clunking noise. Turns out that the differential went bad, and of course my warranty was up a month earlier. I felt I had no choice in the matter and decided to have the work done until they quoted me a price of 3 grand! I wasn't sure what to do because I figured a Corvette isn't an easy car to work on.
