Some of the staff at TIRR are very nice, and we appreciate the rehabilitation services my father has received. However, our experience with the front desk and scheduling has been frustrating. Whenever we have questions, it often feels like the response is simply, “Check MyChart,” instead of actually helping us. Not everyone is comfortable using MyChart or modern technology, especially older patients and their families. Sometimes we just need someone to explain things or help us directly. I was calling to schedule a PT evaluation appointment for my father. However, the representative, “Albny,” accidentally canceled my father’s X-ray appointment, which was scheduled on the same day before his doctor visit and was required to be completed beforehand. What was most concerning was that there was no apology until I specifically asked for one. Instead, I was simply told to contact the scheduling center myself because she works with TIRR. My son was never been excited to attend speech therapies until he had Sydelle in TIRR. He's usually grumpy to attend speech but he got excited when i mention Sydelle and his retention at home is very positive. Unfortunately we're pausing therapies (their policy not to have continuous therapies) but when we're back, we hope to still have Sydelle as my son's therapist. Thank you

Completely useless staff. Call 2 months in advance to schedule appointment off a referral from a doctor. Just for TIRR to wait until the day before the appointment to see if the insurance is accepted. Then proceeds to text me all the way up to the appointment to verify im still coming, but can't send a text to tell me that decided to cancel the appointment. Do better Memorial Hermann.
