They will lie and attempt to scam and oversell you. Went there for a AC test. They told me I was 13 ounces low and they already added freon and would cost $246.00. I told them I decline the service and only wanted the $10.00 AC test. They were upset that I declined the service and proceeded to completely empty all 32 ounces of freon rather than just the 13 ounces they added. The Eustis Location is a class act. They treated me like a welcomed customer. Have had service and repair several times. Easy appointment setting and good communication. I have older vehicles and the work is still done to a high standard. Price is very good, also. Estimates beat other local shops offering similar services.
Everyone was great, Jonathan, Tony, the other guy, I'm sorry, I didn't get your name! They were patient; I was trying to find my records from Firestone so they could find it in their system. Jonathan called and explained their findings and how much longer it would be till my car was done. They answer the phone! I called a little later that day about making another appointment for some additional work and it was easy. Thank you!
Unfortunately it's the same as all shops, it's all about money. I went in and explained I am a retired mechanic and I know what I'm looking for in a balance job. First time I asked for "static" balance and no one seemed to know how to set machine up for one weight at center of tire. On the way home a weight fell off and the balance job was no good. Second time, I go back in and asked "I want a good balance job, so I am asking the tech put MC weights on my rims on both sides". That is called a "dynamic" balance. So, this is w... read more
