I went to Tireland to have a strut mount installed that I supplied from GM. Right after I left the mount made rattling noises. When I took it back I was told the spring was not seated properly. That means it was installed improperly. If a car strut spring is slightly off and needs to be turned into a better seating position, it can cause damage to a strut mount by making it lose bearings.
