I bought a car and they did the safety on it. I went to change out the tires and the wheels were gunned on so tight I almost broke a breaker bar and when they finally broke it messed up my elbow. The torque spec is 87 ft pds and if I was broke down on the side of the road I wouldn’t have been able to change out to a spare tire.
I am new to the area and originally went to Sarnia Tirecraft for new tires. I had good experiences initially, so I continued bringing my older vehicle there for repairs. I understand that older vehicles require maintenance and repairs, but over time the costs became very expensive and I started to have concerns. I decided to get a second opinion from another shop and learned that some repairs and recommendations may not have been necessary.
