Chip Wood started Tire Discounters over 40 years ago. He revolutionized the industry at that time, including mounting and balancing at no additional charge. Many imitators (thank goodness!) do that these days, but Tire Discounters was the first. Then, in 1996, Chip started including a free alignment with standard installation on any 4-tire purchase. Absolutley AMAZING! Our family was traveling from Indiana to Tennessee and our right front wheel bearing went out at the Dry Ridge exit. We pulled into a bank where the teller quickly recommended Tire Discounters across the street. We are so glad that we took her advise! Joe was extremely helpful and friendly. He promised our vehicle would be done by the end of the day (7:00 pm) It was 2:30 and we had two 7 year olds with us. We walked to Cracker Barrel to eat and relax and at 5:00 we spoke with Joe.
