Chip Wood started Tire Discounters over 40 years ago. He revolutionized the industry at that time, including mounting and balancing at no additional charge. Many imitators (thank goodness!) do that these days, but Tire Discounters was the first. Then, in 1996, Chip started including a free alignment with standard installation on any 4-tire purchase. I had a tire losing air and needed it fixed ASAP the guys at Tire Discounters took me in quickly, even though they were very busy. My tire was replaced and they noticed my brake pads were bad (I knew it but put it off) anyway- they took care of my brakes too! Very professional, thorough, and kind. The service is much appreciated!
People are very nice. Tires was a really good price but the alignment service is horrible. My vehicle was not out of line before I bought the new tires. We put the tires on Saturday and after I drove the vehicle after I got home from work. It was pulling really bad. I called them they got me back in. Still was not able notbit day 3 of them trying to get my vehicle back in alignment….
Very good experience all around. Highly recommended.
Don’t bother scheduling an appointment , just drop it off and have someone get you until they tell you it’s done. They are not busy, just disorganized. They need a manager in the front or a work board that shows what work orders are scheduled and what was a walk in. They aren’t bad, they are just not supervised well.
