WARNING: This place is a bad place to go for VETERANS, F&AM, ELKS, MOOSE MEMBERS as well as DAV. The Manager claims to be in the Military, but gives the shaft to 100% disabled Veterans. I was told that the tire I bought from him (which was put on the rim by a family member that owns a respectable garage for over 25 years) blew out because it was put on wrong. Stay Away notice, I had a simple oil change done. Checked my oil 4 days later and the oil level was two inches above the full mark. I jacked it up and drained out 1.5qts to bring it down to the full mark. I have oil all over the underside of my car, my have blown a seal or two from the extra oil and lower crack case pressure. I will not return to there shop except to drop off the 1.5qts of extra oil they gave me and show them the video.
I dropped my car off for a low tire check at 9:45 this morning. They said it would be done at 12:30 and that seemed like a long time to check a tire but I had some errands I could do within walking distance. When I came back at 12:15 my car had not been looked at and it was clear my car had been entirely forgotten. I left at 1:00, with no assistance and with a half hearted "sorry". Luckily the place down the road checked my tire in ten minutes. I cannot recommend this place because of the lousy service I got.
Reputable, honest merchant I have grown to trust – I can point you towards the BAD Mechanics, and other businesses in Dalton with ease, but Turbo Tire is NOT one of them. I have developed a trust towards this family-owned business over the past 16 years of living in this area. Put it this way - They replaced the front brake pads on my Ranger recently. Consistent service at multiple locations – I've used Tire Discounters for 20+ years. I've been to a variety of locations in Cincinnati and get good consistent service. I always get the road hazard which includes free rotation. Yesterday, I took a rental car with a flat tire in. I told them I wanted an inexpensive option and he offered used tires. tire discounters ripped me off. – 2-18-2010 i bought four tires. for the price of $1,126.64. on 3-10-2010 i went back for a warranty alignment, tires had 450 miles on them, and they were cupped severely. all they did was take the tires and switch them front to back. on 5-15-2010, i went back for a warranty alignment, again. tires shook so bad on my truck it tore the upper ball joints out. kerry creech told me he wanted to take these tires off and replace them. we made arrangements to do so for 5-15-2010 and he told me corpor... read more
Terrible Everything! -10Stars – I took my '05 350z Roadster in to have new tires put on. Arrived to pick up car to find that the wheels were filthy. Not dirty, FILTHY. Seeing the condition of the wheels I took a closer look only to find that every wheel on 2 adjacent spokes had scratches in the exact same spot, symmetrical to the curve of the wheel. Unprofessional, Dishonest, Unreliable – Do not take your vehicle here! The do not know what they are doing. The mechanics are a bunch of grease monkeys. They will mess something up on your car and not tell you!! Then they will half-ass fix it or charge you for their mistake! Or tell you that only your dealer can do it! Which is not true. They just don't want to fess up to poor mechanics, unprofessional, dishonest, jerks.
