We originally called to help train our 1yo Great Pyrenees/husky mix who we had just rescued. She used to live outside, tethered most of her first 9 months of life. She had ZERO manners. We worked with Austen by doing the weekly 1-1 and he created an amazing bond with her and our other dog. We were so impressed that we took our 3yo Lab/husky mix to the boarding. We were lucky enough for Austen to help with his training too. Austen and Josh were incredible! I tell everyone about this place!! Thank you tiptop!!
We recently rescued a roughly two year old dog that was a street dog in Mexico and just pulled off the streets roughly a month before we got her. She’s a great dog and so sweet (especially given her past) but had a combination of prey drive and independence/stubbornness that is understandable given her past, but was beginning to feel like an unsafe situation for our indoor cat. So grateful for Austen’s help with training our pup 🤍 (actually, more like training us 🤣) We had been trying to get a handle on her leash reactivity for years, and this is the first time we’ve seen long term improvement and feel like we know what to do to keep progressing after training is done. I have been very happy with the whole experience from tip top K9. Starting with Josh coming to our house to meet with us and to figure out if tip top would be a good fit for us. Moving forward with the 5 lesson plan was perfect. Austin is a great trainer who is incredibly dedicated and invested in the time he spends with our dog, Bella. I research training programs and after reading the reviews I decided to go with Tip Top K9. I am so glad I did! They lived up to their 5 star reviews. I had my consultation with the owner who went over everything. Austin was our trainer. He is the best! He was so thorough and detailed. My dog was doing commands after his 2nd session.
