This company is the worst- they go out of their way to down play real problems and their staff must be trained on how to turn the issues back on the residents. Most of their staff do not seem to know what they are talking about especially when it comes to mold issues.
We were hesitant to move on base because we’ve heard of past problems but decided to follow our gut and have lived here for 6 months so far. Every concern or issue we’ve have had has been properly addressed and remediated. The maintenance team works quickly and efficiently, and the housing office is very accommodating and helpful during any situation we’ve encountered. So there’s a lot to dive into with this one, all horrible things. For one, the housing office would always act like my family was the problem (with scheduling appointments or maintenance) because my wife and I worked full time. So we would give them a day that worked for us, they would agree. And then they would show up on a totally different day then agreed upon, but we were the problem for not letting them in our home w/o consent. If you want to protect yourself and your kids, stay far away. Constant mold issues that never get fixed properly, leading to health problems. They will also raise your rent every renewal no matter what. They should face RICO charges on top of the fraud and mold charges that they already get sued for.
By far the worst housing experience I have ever had. What is it going to take for something to actually be done about housing on Tinker?? Please do your research before signing a lease with Balfour Beatty. I have so many regrets and they do not care. These homes are so bad they really should be torn down. All housing cares about is saving money and taking yours. So sad. The homes on Tinker have a history of mold, asbestos, sewage issues, ect.
