Don’t ever expect to get ahold of anyone at this office. I’ve run out of medication twice in the last three years during insurance switches. They just sit on your information without ever sending in prior authorization. Unless you are your own advocate, and you stay on top of your medication, and double check that they actual send it behind the scenes, you will NOT get care. Dr. Zisman is great. The back office at this place needs some help. I have been trying to reach out to them for the past 3 weeks regarding an issue that has now turned in to an urgent problem. The only people that are in anyway responsive is the call center. This is not how patients should be treated. I'm really sad to say, I might need a new GI only becuase his staffing issues.

I am not a patient of Dr. Zisman but a gastroenterologist in Alaska and I have found Dr. Zisman to be an excellent consultant for patients with inflammatory bowel disease. He has helped me manage some extremely challenging cases and I have referred some of these patients to him for a second opinion.
