Dr Putty is by far one of the greatest neurosurgeons that God put on this planet. I have been a patient since 1995 and if not for Dr Putty, I would be in a wheelchair or worse. Dr Putty has continually cared for me for nearly 30 years and I owe him a great deal of gratitude for giving me the ability to have a decent quality of life. Thank You Dr Timothy Putty and Northwest Neuro Specialists for always being there when your patients need you...God Bless

I have been a patient of Dr. Putty for many years and we’ve encountered several surgeries and I am still walking on my own. Best doc I’ve ever had! His bed side manner is above and beyond and his knowledge of neuro surgery is extraordinary. Best surgeon in Tucson. The office staff go above and beyond to help make things go smoothly for you.

I found him to be icy cold and uncaring. His bedside manner is just terrible. He is not a nice person. Incredibly egotistic. He seems to have serious personal problems. I would not go back to him.

This was my 2nd lumbar fusion. Dr Putty fused my spine at the L4 L5 level. I was in excruciating pain both across my lower back and down my right leg due to extreme stenosis on top of an L5 S1 fusion. I interviewed 5 surgeons. Dr Putty gave me the option of a coflex device or fusion. He respected my decision and performed a very successful fusion. What really struck me is not that the pain left me completely but that I had almost no surgical pain. He was very caring and communicative.

Went to Dr Putty because I had sciatic nerve pain for over a year, even after shots and pain meds. The pain was extremely bad from my back down through my right leg. After X-rays and MRI he told me I had a few options. He suggested cutting the disk, and removing a systs that was pinching the nerve. I had the operation about a month ago and it was an unbelieabible success so far. I know back operations are hit and miss but with Dr Putty it was a hit. He did a great job. I can walk again.

Being in pain for many years and without hope,Dr. Putty gave me hope when I had none. After the back surgery to put a Coflex in I am now able to stand straight, no pain and I can rise from a sitting to standing quickly and with little or no difficulty.

I searched for a year and saw 5 surgeons before I found Tim Putty. He made me feel relaxed, comfortable, and simply in the right place. He was by far the most professional. He performed a TLIF (lumbar fusion) at L-5/S-1 in 2012. Although it took longer to heal than I expected, I am now back to a normal lifestyle including golf. There may be surgeons with equal talent, although few, but there are none better.
