Amazing doctor that helped my child reason through actions. It was important to allow my child to feel Dr. Wahlberg was not taking sides and as much as my child wanted parents in session entire time, Dr. Wahlberg agreed that alone time was important. Of course, each case is different. In the end, Dr. Wahlberg was important in our child becoming an impressive adult. We highly recommend.
If you want to see a therapist that won't allow a parent to come into the session--go to this man. If you want to see a man who sides with a parent to kick out their autistic child out of the house, he's your guy. Shame on this man who doesn't children. Ex: Adult son wanted me present in his therapy sessions--"Dr" W refused. Son is 19 y/o. He supports ex-spouse in saying its okay to kick out autistic son, when son hasn't caused any trouble to anyone!
