The best around in my opinion, sure saved a lot of my family members.
Dr. Spurling saved my life and for that, I am eternally grateful. As long as I'm living and he's practicing, he will be my doctor.
Piss poor bedside manner and treated my mother TERRIBLY. My mother has had chrons for the last 20 years, and without looking at her chart or doing any testing told her that she doesn't have it. Don't allow him to see/touch you unless you want your pain dismissed.
Poor bedside manner and thinks he knows more than he actually does. Dr. Spurling laughed off my mother's symptoms and claimed it to be IBS without doing any further testing. Went to a different GI doctor and she's confirmed to have mild gastroparesis. If he would have bothered doing additional testing it would have saved us a lot of grief and pain. I would not recommend him to anyone unless you have a death wish.
