Dr. Spurling is an excellent Gastroenterologist. I appreciated his positive attitude and his experience. I felt confident that I was receiving the best medical care.
I didn't appreciate being told it was "all in my head" basically for being concerned about my bleeding in the toilet. I won't be using him ever again. Yes I was told this before and after my colonoscopy. Although I did have 2 hemorrhoids, I felt very dismissed as a patient
The best around in my opinion, sure saved a lot of my family members.
Dr. Spurling saved my life and for that, I am eternally grateful. As long as I'm living and he's practicing, he will be my doctor.
Piss poor bedside manner and treated my mother TERRIBLY. My mother has had chrons for the last 20 years, and without looking at her chart or doing any testing told her that she doesn't have it. Don't allow him to see/touch you unless you want your pain dismissed.
