I had a speeding ticket case, clocked at 70 in a 45 zone. Ended up spending two days in prison! This wasn't even a misdemeanor! I'm in my lower 30s, have a clean criminal history, only seen prison on TV, ended up spending two days in jail because I cannot afford the fine! I didn't like how he discouraged me from going to trial. I can't believe this was the best deal he could make. To give credit where credit is due however, he did earn his fee by extending the court date around 4-5 months which kept me employed.
