About 4 months ago I was referred to him by my family Dr because I was having issues swallowing and it felt like something was stuck in my throat. So during my visit he asked what was wrong I told him and then he looked down my throat and said your throat is fine. Sent me on my way. 2 months later I still didn’t feel good, made an appointment with another ENT in Elyria and during my visit she use a scope to go up my nose and there she found I had polyps on my voice box and a mass / cyst on the back of my throat. He did not listen to my wife and gave horrible advice including gargling with peroxide but not telling her to dilute it. He started the exam saying there is no way I am removing your tonsils without even examining her. Do not go here!
Hilary Timmis is rude and arrogant. He was very disregarding in regards to a diagnosis of mine that was confirmed through multiple imaging. I will advocate for myself, and apparently, he doesn't like that. When he noticed my second opinion (17 minutes before my scheduled appt) He had his staff call me to cancel and kick me out of his practice.
Horrible doctor! Makes excuses on why he can't do his job. Has a horrible attitude and has made it clear he doesn't like working with people that have military insurance (Tricare). Also told my 15 year old daughter she was overweight and that is why she keeps getting sinus and throat infections.
