My wife and I had TimeLine Design design and build our custom 5700 sq ft Portola Valley home. From tear down of the old house to move in to the new house was on schedule at 19 months! Unbelievable. I believe this performance was partly due to the fact that they did the architectural design as well as the build, so the normal stresses between architect and builder were not present. The in-house architect was terrific and the home is lovely. The other reason it was on schedule was that Timeline Design takes scheduling very... read more

We hired Timeline Design+ Build in Saratoga, California for a complete remodel our California style ranch house. We are very pleased with the result and very much enjoyed the experience of working with the crew at Timeline. Matthew Harrigan, the owner and president of Timeline, was involved in design throughout the project. Matthew’s engineering background was apparent from our first visit where he showed us a very detailed work flow diagram he uses at Timeline to maintain an efficient and on-time operation. Matthew helpe... read more

My husband and I worked with Timeline to provide some initial insights for the potential remodel of our house in Los Altos. They provided useful design guidance for what a minimal, moderate, and full-scale renovation would look like, in addition to approximate costs for each. Their guidance was practical and well-informed from years of experience in the industry. They were professional, flexible and always listened to our input. Although we weren't able to take the process any further due to our family situation, we gained a... read more

Timeline did an extensive remodel of our Eichler-style house a couple of years ago. They were excellent to work with. They were transparent throughout the process and let us be as hands on as we wanted to be. Their designer took pains to respect the style of the original house while modernizing it. The construction leads were professional and fun to work with. They cared about getting every detail right. They accommodated all our change orders and delivered the project on time and within budget. Highly recommend working with... read more

We hired Timeline Design in Saratoga, California for a major remodel of our home. We found mold damage that required us to essentially tear down half our house, pour a new foundation, and rebuild it. It was a long, painful process but the staff at Timeline made it as easy and pleasant as it could possibly be. We are very happy with our "new" home and really enjoyed working with the staff at Timeline. Matthew Harrigan, the owner and president of Timeline, started us off with the design process and provided us multiple esti... read more
