I lived in a Time Equities building for nearly 20 years until last month. For the entire time, they handled everything with courteousness and respect. One nice thing about having a professional management company is that it affords multiple support systems. So, for example, even when our super was on vacation, there were other people we could call on for help. Bil, our super, was dependable and enormously hardworking. RecommendedTEI is an awesome company filled with honest and hardworking individuals. When I first moved to NYC, I needed some guidance finding an apartment and TEI had my back throughout the whole process. They are knowledgeable people who actually care about their customers - which is a lot more than I can say for some of the other groups I've worked with.
They refused to return calls, emails and have not returned a security deposit for 7 months. They are retaining a 6 month security deposit with no basis. Tenants seeking to do business with them beware.
Unfair practices placing people in tough situations. Can’t be trusted!!
