Such a shame that Timbertown has permently closed, my grandfather set up the steam saw mill, and I have fond childhood memories. It will be missed.
Good place
Used to be amazing but now it’s just run down, disgusting and dangerous. Although the kids did like the steam train it was still very disappointing
I'm not surprised they are closing down. The place is more like a museum now with very little in the way of interactive shows or displays.. I didn't see more than 6 staff the whole day. No wood cutting, no blacksmith, most of the buildings were barred and you could only look in from outside. Horse drawn carriage ride is now done with an old tractor.
