Great food and service. The atmosphere is for kids with a nice forest them. Staff was very nice and let us take a look at the food before we choose to eat their. It is a self serve restaurant.
Great atmosphere. Definitely overpriced. Felt bad for the staff as they tried to manage a situation where a child vomited near the buffet line. Staff replaced the entire line, which I was happy to see. We were not compensated when the line was shut down. We left shortly after. My waiter was stretched thin as she tried to be attentive to us but wasn’t. The food was edible, lacked flavor. Won’t be returning.
The food wasn’t tasty at all. It feels as though the hotel makes no real effort to invest in quality, knowing that guests are essentially a captive audience.
This place has a lot of potential- especially being the only dinner buffet in all of Foxwoods. It's in a kids hotel, so the theming is a fun kids woodlands. It's dark and lit up with surrounding trees. It's cute and creative. The food - had a lot of options. Love the variety and the carving station - but a simple adjustment to their prime rib and it will be a tender perfection. The food was okay considering I was super hungry and the cooks were pretty good with refills considering they were swamped on this day, but we happened to come at a time where there was also a performance in the main lobby, so we were stuck hearing a bunch of kids doing the Cha Cha Slide. The environment is overstimulating and there was barely any space in between us and the next tables.
