we spent two nights at timberline Lodge. It is a huge lovely rustic lodge on Mount Hood that was built during the new deal during Roosevelt’s presidency. We were very excited about staying here and enjoyed it for the most part. However, the place has kind of an hohum atmosphere, where it has gotten used to being OK and isn’t making an effort to be outstanding.
