Amazing trip to check out the state park. Will be returning in the future in a cooler time frame!
The tent was great! Customer service was fantastic. I reserved a kayak the night we arrived and it was ready the next morning. I then called the 3rd day of our trip to reserve another and she went out of her way to arrange it for me! Of course tent camping in July is HOT but it was very comfortable in the mornings and evening/nights. We spent our days at the lake so it was perfect and we slept great!
It was pretty expensive for what it is. But nice not having to set up our own tent. The tent is very nice inside. Though I would recommend beginning of summer or end of summer not midsummer. It's just too hot lots of things for the kiddos to enjoy
My husband and I spent a couple nights in one of the standard glamping tents. It was so cute and beautifully decorated! Close walk to the restrooms/bath house. We went in July and the tent had a a/c unit that kept it comfortable even in mid 90 degree weather!! The tents are located close to the splash pad and just a short walk or ride over to the beach area. It was quiet and peaceful and just a wonderful little place! We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a getaway that won't break the bank!
Very nice set-up. Tents were clean, comfortable, and had everything needed for an easy stay. The park at Guntersville was very calm, clean, and all campers were super respectful of each other. Also, the abundance of bath houses was very much appreciated!
