Our home is beautiful but so many errors and cut corners. They list an "emergency contact" but it is not answered past 5pm. We have gone 2 weeks after closing without our sod, and had a busted septic line that was clearly covered with grass. Timberland contractors produces your typical builder-grade track homes. It has been our unfortunate experience that we have made several repairs since buying our late 2010 when it was brand new and never occupied. Since 2010, our A/C unit has had to be repaired twice, all the electrical outlets and light switches have been repaired due to back-stabbing installation, and now we have to repair a leak that is coming from the drywall in our garage that was due to poor plumbing installation. We spent more than 4 months working with these folks to build a house in Cottonwood. There were verbal commitments about the timing of the build that were simply lies and misrepresentations. We were finally handed off to the person responsible for selecting all finishes (plumbing fixtures, tile, windows and doors, etc.) They gave us a list of their suppliers and we visited all of them and made all our selections in 2 days. Shoddy windows and doors. Requested repairs and told that there was nothing wrong with windows that didn't shut properly. Have replaced all outside doors due to leakage and wood rot. Recently replaced double pane windows that leaked. Were told by the professional window installers (over 40 years here) that some of the windows weren't even attached to the framing.

Some of the most unprofessional individuals I've ever encountered. Our house was built by them and- after ~1 year- we had to replace a rotting back door that was improperly installed. We've also had to replace all of our windows because they were ALSO installed incorrectly. After parking in front of our house- instead of the hundreds of feet of empty street on the other side of their work site. Why I dislike Timberland Contractors. I bought a house, from Timberland Contractors, in 2009. Watched it built from the ground up. After going thru everything for the mortgage loan, and jumping through hoops, we close and move in.

Why I dislike Timberland Contractors. I bought a house, from Timberland Contractors, in 2009. Watched it built from the ground up. After going thru everything for the mortgage loan, and jumping through hoops, we close and move in. Within days, our door knobs were falling off. The second childrens bedroom door would close. I have GIANT cracks in the exposed foundation in the garage. My air conditioner is too small for the size of my house. My experience with Timberland.... We are currently working with them, and let me say, for our first experience with home building, I am beyond happy. I am seriously ecstatic about having them build our home. You should really look into it, they help with very aspect of the process. Look them up, its worth it!
