This review is for customer service. I love my 1220 mill. I called TimberKing and did my best to explain the part I was looking for. Rather than taking the time to assure I was ordering the right thing (maybe by asking a few more clarifying questions) I was sent the wrong part. I then made the mistake by saying communication is normally a 50/50 deal (a two way street so to speak). I then proceeded to listen to the salesman rant about how the blame was all on me. The best of the best!
My Timberking 1220 has 5 hours on it. So far I have put $500 into a new voltage regulator as the original one started on fire and started a grass fire while I was milling. Now the hitch coupler is broken and the lubrication hose has fallen off. Neither Timberking nor Vanguard (Briggs and Stratton) have been any help. For all the hoopla about best in industry quality, I'm not seeing it. Also, would have been nice to at least have someone pay lip service to my experience.
