I would never expect to use the word Sawmill, and Snob, in the same sentence. But these people are Sawmill Snobs at the highest degree. I will take the customer service and friendliness at Woodmizer above Timberking anyday. I'm buying a sawmill, not a status trophy. Just because you put King in the name, doesn't make it so.
My TimberKing 2220 just keeps making me money. I chose TimberKing because of what I had experienced myself, from using many different models of TimberKing sawmills, and also from friends that bought cheap sawmills shipped in on pallets and they had to assemble and try to figure out how to use them, with zero help from the manufacturer. We recently purchased a Timberking 2020 and we couldn't be happier. We researched and watched everything we could online but running the mill in person still exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to spend more time milling in the upcoming months and year.
