Do not do business with Bill Laisdell of Timber and Stone Construction LLC. They are not accountable, prefer cash and hand written contracts, and DO NOT follow installation protocols of the manufacturer. Despite my advocating for following the block manufacturers specific install instructions they did it ‘their way’ anyway! Just one season later we called back stating the frost/freeze was heaving the wall over, and the next year, and the next year, etc. No follow up and no accountability. Now we return to this disaster. A picture says 1000 words, and our wall has collapsed. We have called for years to try to get it fixed and now it has completely failed . We would love to resolve this with Bill but have to resort to sharing our horrible experience and very expensive lesson online. The “warranty” is worthless.
Unfortunately, I can't recommend working with Timber & Stone Construction LLC. In 2020, we hired them to demo and build a new patio and new deck. Although the company has some good workers, we ran into a number of problems. When the old patio was demolished, damage was done to our adjoining chimney. When the new patio was installed, porous sand was used against the foundation. The result was water seeping into our chimney and eventually ruining our furnace. $4,200 for us to replace the furnace. Lowlife company that requires multiple visits to complete a simple job. Workers are high off more than marijuana, and the owner, Bill Laisdell, only completes jobs when he needs the cash to supply his habit
Although some of his team were wonderful we can’t recommend Timber and Stone due to the owner’s behavior. Be very careful! Get a signed contract and pay very close attention.
