I was hit by a car at a stop light two weeks ago. The owner has Liberty Mutual insurance. I had to play phone tag for days to even make a statement. In the past 24 hours, my car stopped working, alternator sparking and battery dead. I texted the claims adjuster yesterday around 3 pm, then again today, left two voicemails, and called multiple times. This is the response I finally got.
I have Liberty Mutual for years and I was happy at first. Then my recent car give out on me and I had to purchase another, so cancelled and the old car , I added the one I bought and it was for only 11 days. I called and switched to another “cheaper “ insurance and to cancel this policy with liberty they are charging me $48 dollars a day for having this policy for 7 on the new car and the total was $336 for early cancellation. If I could do 1/2 I would have. They canceled my policy because I used too many towing services with another insurance company on a vehicle I had more than a decade ago. That was the only reason and when I told the agent that did not make any sense he just said that is all. Right when I was in the car dealership waiting to leave after I prove I had car insurance. It was horrible. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
