Tim Murphy installed a sensor claiming it was an original manufacturer part. When I had trouble 6 months later, another mechanic discovered an after-market part had been installed. When I brought this to Murphy's attention, he seemed unstable and shouted racial epithets insulting to African Americans, which is odd since I am white. Look elsewhere for car repair.
Once they found out they weren't going to make a lot of money off me, they were interested in doing the work. Terrible customer service.
This place is the worst place to go to, unfortunately if your a female. The guys where, im going to assume the owners, are not pigs BUT they feel as though woman dont know much about cars. I needed to get my care MD Inspected and they ran the test with no problem, when it came down to them telling me what needed to be fixed they gave me a very reasonable price. The problem was, being a woman who knows a little bit about cars, the price didnt add up in my head. They priced a Rack and pinion at "around 200" they guy tells me. ... read more
