Best electric company ever! I needed an outlet for a sump pump in my basement. I had another company come out for a quote before Kunkel, and it went from a quote for an outlet to full blown rewiring the entire house to replacing the panel and outside meter. That quote was over $13,000. All I needed was an outlet, and even that was way overpriced. Jack, from Kunkle, came out, assessed it, gave me the quote for labor, materials, and permits. They did professional work at a reasonable price, they were always on time and provided excellent communication about the project. Will definitely use them for any future electrical work.
After a so so job with another outfit, I called Tim Kunkel Electric. Jack came out. It was the right call. I will only call Kunkel from now on.
Tim and his team recently upgraded our panel from 100 to 200 amp in our St. Paul home. They did a great job from the start to end. I was happy with the quote process - Tim emailed me a comprehensive quote and I was happy with the options and price. I was also impressed how quick they finished the job, and were also quick to schedule the city inspection - which passed with no questions.
