My daughter saw Dr Auger from 6/14-5/16 when she had her braces removed. After her braces were removed she wore her retainer religiously, just as Dr Auger had advised. About 6 months ago her teeth began to shift rapidly. The gap in her front teeth returned and her bottom teeth were extremely crooked. Her new ortho told us that she has a piece of gum behind her front teeth that pushes her teeth apart and would have to be removed (and should have been removed when she had braces before).
