This review is long overdue. I took my son and his friend to the Toque last August and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. If you have never spent time on the French River, it is a truly magical place. Terry and Ethan are incredible hosts and made sure that we had everything we needed. The Toque was everything we expected and more. Although known for the trophy Musky fishing, we caught eight different species in one day. Kayaking to the secret back lakes is simply spectacular. Great fishing trip.
My husband hunts here with friends and they go back multiple times per year because this place has it all. Great location, great fishing, amazing service, and clean cabins.
We recently stayed at Tilted Toque and we had a really good experience. From pick up at the marina to being dropped off. The lodge itself has fantastic views from the cabins our cabin was super clean and well equipped. We had a dock out front that we used to fish off and relax. Terry and son was very pleasant to talk to. Nice people/Hosts. We do plan on booking again.
