Had a very last minute job needing completed on a house that was closing and Tilstra Plumbing came through. The office staff and plumber who came to site were very professional and incredibly helpful. Job well done.

A water purification system installed by Telstra malfunctioned a few years after installation, resulting in debris flowing through the taps. Despite four service calls, the issue persisted, leading to frustration and high service costs. Ultimately, the problem was resolved by installing a strainer in the system, a solution not recommended by Telstra.

It took 4 visits to repair a 4 year old water heater that they installed and they charged $6000.00. When challenged with the process and cost, there was absolutely no recognition of the absurdity of the costs nor any effort to adjust charges to reflect the fact that this many visits and this invoice was beyond reasonable.

I called per recommendation, only to find that they were only willing to service after hours plumbing emergencies if you were an existing client. I guess that will never happen The phone service people were polite.
