Get directionsI always have really bad experiences with this hospital. I would come 3 times a week for months not being able to breath. And spend 6 or more hours waiting to get help. My recent visit i had a potential emergency with pph, which can be life threatening, and they are treating it as a period.
Called to book an ultrasound. Life labs in tillsonburg doesn't offer that service so I googled where I could book one and the hospital came up. The lady that answered the phone was one of the rudest people I have dealt with since moving here. The attitude was unreal. A simple question that apparently inconvenienced her entire day. Get out of the customer service field if you can't be nice to people.
I recently have changed my opinion on this hospital. I believe emerge still needs to work on some things like anyone 80 and over coming in should have earned the privilege of a bed. Not stuck in chairs for hours. Even if thier bp is ok it doesn't mean they aren't in great danger of terminal illnes. Both my parents bp was ok yet one had very low blood and one had sepsis. I have had 2 amazing experiences at this hospitable. My first experience, I arrived by ambulance woke up in ICU. I truly believe they saved my life. My second experience I was diagnosed with aggressive Form of cancer it was removed quickly and efficiently by a surgeon on staff. All staff in this hospital have been well trained well informed and very compassionate. I have no complaints. Excellent care.
My husband needed emergency care in a life-threatening situation. The ER care was very good in getting him what was needed. We can’t say enough good about the post-surgical care he received in the ICCU - it was exceptional. In total he spent 23 days in hospital and yes, there were some minor issues, but they were things that are not specific to TDMH. Overall, we will not hesitate to use TDMH again, should the need arise.
