There’s no way I can describe how perfect Tilden Park has been my entire 58 year alive and enjoying the carousel [area] Ohhjhhhh the amazing trains the little farm is where I was a little 3 yr old and my dad puts me o the back of the donkey and SLAPPED his behind! Had a lot of fun taking my kids to the Tilden Fungal Fair! Learned about poisonous mushrooms and more! Nature center was nice with some interesting exhibits. And the Small Farm was loved by my 8 year old — he loved feeding the cows! Be sure to bring celery or lettuce as only those are allowed for feeding the animals.

If you’ve never been to Tilden Park you need to go. Great environment for children and adults. They have the golf course, the lake, the carousel, the little farm animals, and nature walk. Fun for all.

Has it all, I hiked a trail in the morning then brought a picnic lunch with my 80+ yr old mom and aunt, and finished off the day at the Merry-go-round. Nice drive through all areas, easy to navigate both in car and on hike! Beautiful, green, and nice cool day!!

Lake Anza is a Perfect family place to swim, relax, have a picnic and chill. So close in proximity but still feels like your miles away, lost in mother nature. One of my favourite places and only $2.50 for kids n $3.50 for adults. Highly recommend it!

We really enjoyed everything about our day in the park. The trails, the farm , the gardens and the steam train.
