What once was a trustworthy establishment to me, is now not the place I would send my mother to, nor do I plan on using them again, because of the flip flopping stories between the son, father, and their "long time mechanic" who gives me the creeps and just says "yup" to everything. Maybe try telling people exactly what you did when you order parts that don't fit and "have to order OE from Nissan". The team at Tildens is great! I would highly recommend going to them if you have any car troubles. I took my car in thinking I may need an alignment and my tires looked at, the guys took there time trying to figure out the issue but in the end nothing was wrong, they turned off my tire light and didn’t charge me anything! These guys are truly great!
Skip these guys, they clearly don't care about your car. I kept asking about transmission service and like clockwork they respond with what the MANUFACTURER suggests. Has anyone been paying attention lately? The manufacturers are suggesting terrible maintenance intervals, so your car goes boom and you have to buy a new one. Mike and Mike will blindly repeat that the manufacturer says the fluid is "good for the life". This will be a follow up to the LW review, as I hit the character limit! And now Tilden has responded to my review, and here's all you need to know: MIKE! Brother. If you had ROAD TESTED my VW and the brakes you changed, ABOVE PARKING LOT SPEEDS, I would have never known you missed tightening that bolt, which has then caused damage to the brand new rotor and brake pads you installed and charged me for. EDIT: It's very, very unfortunate that I have to update this review. After years of taking multiple vehicles, 3 at peak, to Tilden for all car care and service, I absolutely no longer trust this shop to do the proper work and give vehicles the time and attention they are needing. I took my car in to get my brakes worked on, Tilden said it would be front rotors and a brake pad on the front and back, didn't oversuggest all 4 rotors, all 4 pads like another shop did, was honest about the rear brakes, cool works for me.
