Came in town for a concert and was looking for a cheap place for the night. The price was right, the location was perfect — not only close to the venue but right beside the lake, too! The room was clean, comfy, and I loved having a kitchenette. The room was everything I needed it to be for the night. Reception was very friendly! I'd definitely come back here.

Do not stay here. The accommodation conditions at Tiki Shores Inn & Suites were absolutely unacceptable and unhygienic. The room was completely filthy; we found discarded toenails and the floors were so dirty that a towel dropped on the ground instantly turned black with filth. The room also stank of smoke and was located next to the bin storage. Just stayed at tiki shores last night and paid 300 for a 2 bedroom unit and it was filthy! Around the taps and baseboards was years of dirt.tile coming off in the bathroom floor no screen in the bedroom window had to keep window shut. Stains on the couch and the mattress was on top of some wood. Went to the front desk and she didn’t seem to care. Will never go back and will warn people it is nothing like the pictures on the website

The worst experience ever. I’m deeply appalled by the way my family and I were treated at this motel. We reserved a room specifically because the motel was advertised as pet-friendly. My mistake was assuming that this included cats. We had absolutely no intention of sneaking our cat in or hiding her from management. In fact, the manager saw the cat in our car and immediately, and very rudely, told us to leave without giving us any opportunity to explain or resolve the situation. We were really looking forward to our stay but had to cancel due to the fires in Summerland. The hotel gave us free cancellation even though our booking didn’t allow for it. Very generous and I’m happy they are looking out for everyone’s safety. We will come back another time!
